Vinyasa Flow

Get certified in 21 days

In our 200 hours Vinyasa yoga teacher training, we mainly focus on Vinyasa flow (60%), the practise of the primary series of Ashtanga (20%) and restorative/yin (20%) to counterbalance the practice.

Through the practise of vinyasa flow, students will experience the most popular and modern styles of yoga. The vinyasa flow practise incorporates awareness of breath and movement which disciplines our mind, body and soul.

We are keeping the essence of our multi-style course and integrating into this new training. We will cover the most important aspect of yoga by building a bridge between East and West, between science and spirituality, between practice and teaching. Learn, Teach & Change the world!

Vinyasa Flow

  • Learn how to instruct professionally Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes of 60 minutes
  • Practice different sequences of Vinyasa Yoga
  • Learn how to do safe adjustments and corrections during Vinyasa Yoga class
  • Alignment is the key: study and break down each pose to truly understand the biomecanics of the asanas
  • Learn how to prevent injuries and offer customise modifications
  • Sequencing is the art: experience and apply different strategies to make your vinyasa flow unique and creative in each of your classes

Asthanga primary series

  • Practice the primary series of ashtanga vinyasa (K.Pattabi Jois)
  • Learn how to guide modified and full primary series
  • Develop your own practice through the mysore style and enjoy the hands on assist from our experienced teachers
  • Adjustments and hands on assists are the signature of a truly Ashtanga teacher: learn safe adjustments for the poses to help your students to accomplish their true potential
  • Learn how to modify the difficult poses for you and for your own students
  • KEY POINTS of Asthanga: Ujjajji breath, dristhi and bhandas

Yin and Restorative Yoga

  • Counterpose the yang practise of vinyasa flow and Ashtanga with the soothing experience of a yin yoga and restorative yoga practices
  • Practice yin yoga for meridian and chakras opening experience
  • Heal your body and calm your mind
  • Learn how to use props to improve your daily yin and restorative practise
  • Understand the human skeleton variation (functional anatomy) of yin yoga
  • Improve your flexibility through stretching and holding the poses

Inversion Inmersion

  • Learn and master headstand, tripod and handstand
  • Get all the benefits the inversions poses
  • Headstand (Sirsasana): learn learn the different ways to go in and out of the pose safely.
  • Experience the different variations of headstand and tripod
  • Handstand (adho mukha vrksasana): Learn different techniques to acquire the courage and strength that you need to accomplish the pose
  • Use different props that will help you in your way to be upside down: wall, blocks, straps, partner help…
  • Improve core and coordination of your body and mind
  • Go beyond your limitations and be upside down!

Special Masterclasses

  • Learn how to jump back and front in surya namaskar A and B from standing postures to chaturanga and viceversa
  • Learn how to jump back and through from sitting postures to chaturanga and viceversa
  • Experience the drop back from standing to overcome the fear.
  • Gain the necessary knowledge and experience to assist other students to drop back
  • Happy hips: work on your flexibility in various hip openers with different yoga games and props

Meditation-Pranayama-Bhakti

Acro Yoga Workshop

  • Introduction to the basics of acroyoga: base, flyer, spotter
  • Learn and practise some of  the most popular acro postures: throne, bird, airplane and some backbendings

Ayurveda Workshop

  • Learn the basics of ayurveda: principals and theory
  • Body constitutions: 3 doshas: vata, pitta & kapha
  • Relation between ayurveda and yoga
  • 5 elements: agni, akasha, vayu, prithvi & jala.
  • Diet and nutrition according to ayurveda
  • Learn to apply the ayurveda principals to cure disease and modify the daily life-style

Thai Massage Workshop

  • Enjoy a special workshop of thai yoga massage to heal and rejuvenate your body
  • Learn techniques that will help you to increase your knowledge and experience to apply in your teaching
  • Practice in a team and work together to experience giving and receiving the massage
  • Benefit from this massage to relax your tired muscles and minimise the anxiety and stress of our daily lives

Welcome to the course!

200 hour program
Curriculum

We have redefined a curriculum as per the international standards of Yoga Alliance USA & UK coupled with our own expertise in the field of yoga.

 

The prime objective is to prepare the future teachers physically and spiritually ready to practice and teach by themselves. We will lay down the foundations to become a successful and well-rounded yoga teacher.

 

The main areas that we cover in our program will be will be classified in 5 modules: Yoga teaching techniques, teaching Methodology and Yogic Lifestyle, Philosophy, Anatomy and physiology, and Practice.

 

There will be a total of 180 contact hours during the 3 weeks program. During or after the training every student has to submit one article and there will be some homework from the theory classes. There will be consider as 20 non-contact hours. (more info about this assignments after registering in the course)
