Welcome to our Ayurveda course!

 

This course is designed to provide an introduction to the ancient Indian system of health and wellness known as Ayurveda. You will learn about the principles of Ayurveda, how it relates to nutrition and diet, and some of the treatments used to maintain balance and health. We will also explore the role of meditation and yoga in Ayurveda, as well as how it can be used to improve overall wellbeing.

 

By the end of this course, you will have a better understanding of what Ayurveda is and how it can be used to improve your health and quality of life.

AYURVEDA: Module I

Introduction to Ayurveda and Ayurveda Nutrition
Ayurveda is considered by many scholars to be the oldest healing science. In Sanskrit, Ayurveda means “The Science of Life.” Ayurvedic knowledge originated in India more than 5,000 years ago and is often called the “Mother of All Healing.” It stems from the ancient Vedic culture and was taught for many thousands of years in an oral tradition from  accomplished masters to their disciples.
 
We offer a Diploma course in “Introduction to Ayurveda and Ayurveda Nutrition”
The programme integrates ancient Ayurvedic knowledge and understanding with modern medical science by using a blended-learning approach that combines self-study, classroom tutorials, practicals classes.
 
Students will gain extensive knowledge and understanding of Ayurvedic concepts of food, nutrition and lifestyle.
After the completion of course students can  practice as an Ayurvedic Nutritionist or Lifestyle consultant.

Basics of Ayurveda

  • The five elements: fundamentals of the fire, air, earth, space and water

Concept of Health

  • Definition of Health and Disease
  • Learn the Concept of Doshas: vata, pita & kapha

Body constitutions

  • Learn the detailed study of body constitution
  • Practical classes and self understanding of constitution

Ayurveda Nutrition

  • Study the concept of metabolism ( Agni and Ama)
  • Analising the diet according to each body constitution
  • Diet according to the lifestyle diseases and dosha imbalances

Daily Regimen and Seasonal Regimen

AYURVEDA: Module II

Introduction to Ayurveda medicine and External therapies
Ayurveda is an ancient Indian system of natural medicine that has been used for thousands of years to promote health and wellbeing. Ayurveda is based on the belief that each person has a unique constitution, or dosha, which can be balanced through lifestyle practices, diet and herbal remedies.
 
In this module, we will explore the fundamentals of Ayurveda and its external therapies. We will discuss the three doshas, how they relate to individual health, and how to balance them through lifestyle practices. We will also learn about various external therapies used in Ayurveda, such as massage, oil applications, and steam treatments. By the end of this module, you will have a better understanding of Ayurveda and its external therapies.

Basics of Ayurveda Anatomy

  • Learn and understanding the main vital points ( Marmas )
  • Deepen into the anatomy according to ayurveda principles

Introduction to Ayurveda Pharmacology

  • Understanding of Taste, quality, potency, post digestive effect and special effect of the herbs

Ayurveda medicinal preparations

  • Understand the qualities of Ayurveda herbs
  • Learn how to prepare medicinal oils and ayurvedic powders

Ayurveda External therapies

  • Theory and practical classes of various external therapies and uses: Oil massage, powder massage, Bandaging, kneading therapy…
