The five elements

It is based on the belief that health and wellness depend on the balance between five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space.

 

These five elements are found in all living things and must be in balance for one to enjoy optimal health.

 

  • Earth is the most solid of the five elements and represents structure, stability, and nourishment. It is the foundation of Ayurveda and provides us with a sense of grounding.
  • Water is associated with flow and movement. It is the element of cleansing and purification, and helps to flush out toxins from the body.
  • Fire is associated with transformation and digestion. It helps to break down food, absorb nutrients, and create heat in the body.
  • Air is associated with movement and circulation. It helps to move energy and oxygen throughout the body, aiding in digestion and circulation.
  • Space is associated with connection and expansion. It helps us to connect with our environment and expand our awareness.

These five elements interact with each other in order to maintain balance in the body. When one element is out of balance, it can cause physical and emotional imbalances. Ayurveda helps to restore balance by using herbs, diet, meditation, yoga, and massage to bring the body back into harmony.

 

Ayurveda is not just a system of medicine; it is a way of life. By understanding the five elements and how they interact, we can learn to live in harmony with nature and our environment. This will help us to maintain balance in our lives and enjoy optimal health.

This package is designed to relax and vitalize the body. In addition to medical steam baths, herbal medicine and soothing face masks, it also includes two highlights of Ayurvedic treatment: full-body massages (Abhyanga) and pouring of warm liquids onto the forehead (Shirodhara). Their base are warm herbal oils, which are mixed according to centuries-old recipes.

Losing weight, feeling freer and more comfortable as well as prevent the harmful effects that can occur due to overweight – these are the goals of this special Ayurvedic treatment. Traditional medicinal herbs play a central role in this treatment: they unfold their effect in powder massages, oils, steam baths and medicines. Individual and varied nutrition supports the treatment.

Stress management

If you suffer from stress or burn-out symptoms, the Stress Management Package is the right choice. Among other things, this package includes pouring of warm oil onto the forehead (Shirodhara), herbal steam baths as well as yoga and meditation. It is the goal to let body and soul come to rest.
